Thank you everyone who followed us throughout the semester. We tried our best telling you guys about some excellent independent restaurants that really need our help! Tell your friends, take your friends there, but do something to try and pass the word on. VCU is home to over thirty Hole in the Wall places and a lot of students don't know about em. Help us let them know!

Update

Good news and bad news everyone. First Mojos Philadelli has signed on and agreed to help us out. Unfortunately it isn't the same with Piccolas. The owner just has been very reluctant so we won't pressure them with this. BUT that doesn't mean you shouldn't check em out. I had their pizza for the first time today and it was AWESOME. So all in all here's the 3 restaurants that are offering a special incentive. Its MOJOs Philadelli at the corner of Laurel and Cary in the nothing but blue building, the Coliseum deli, market, and cafe across from the student health services building on broad street and Bodillaz Famous Quesidillas on Broad street next to the School of the Arts building. Keep in mind the only way you can get the incentive is by asking for our sign up sheet and filling it out. We really need your help guys so bring your friends and enjoy some awesome quality food at some stellar hole in the wall places!

What this is all about

So guys we've got a special request for all who sees this post. Pass it on to your friends and let them know cause we need your help. Thursday and Friday April 11th and 12th is our part 3 to this project. Getting people out into society and doing something about these putting these independent restaurants on the map. Only way for us to record our data from this is by you asking for the sign up sheet when you go into the select few restaurants we chosen. Now we know its not cheap to go out and eat so the few restaurants we'll have with these sign up sheets will provide some sort of special incentive for rewarding those who ask for the sign up sheet and completely filling it out. (we need your help) We're only looking at 4 places total. So far we've got the Coliseum Deli across from Student health services and Bodillaz right next to the School of the Arts building. Tomorrow we're going to get the final word from Piccolas Italy pizza and subs at the corner of Harrison and Main, as well as Mojo's Philladeli at the corner of Laurel and Cary. 4 different locations that are willing to help us out so lets help them out as best we can guys. Bodillaz! As Josh, Emma, and I were here, I happened to interview a regular customer who was there. He said "I try to eat here as much as I can. I love it here."

Josh's thoughts

I know I've been slacking unlike my coworkers. I've gotta say I'm astonished VCU's campus has so much to offer in the independent restaurant business. The Coliseum is awesome. The owner is very relaxed, he looks to take care of his customers and makes sure to put out quality food for them to enjoy. Its mostly Persian and Indian food but he's adapted his menu to cater to his American patrons with Philly Cheesesteaks pizza and so much more. Definitely a place I would recommend. Not to mention there is so much more like The Black Sheep, delicious Irish food and a great atmosphere to add to it. Also there is the Village which if you ask anyone about the Village they will tell you you need to go to the Village its just THAT GOOD guys. Keep checking in with us guys there are so many more places we want to hit up
