Slimming down the cast for the Conjurers webcomic relaunch. I was flying by the seat of my pants in the first run. Characters tend to pile up when you do that. And one of these characters got recruited from the webcomic to save book three. My editor broke the news that I needed to pull one of my main characters out of book three. She had too much backstory which threaded back before book one. Which also meant the story fell apart like an old sweater when I yanked her.
