Wherever you go, the fans are the same & those at Del Webb Field in Modesto are no exception. They still come out to see the stars of the game. A little more avid than most, perhaps, was this young couple (L), who hoist their young daughter to the top of the fence, the better to see the star batters of the New York Yankees, Roger Maris & Mickey Mantle. The Yanks, along with the Giants, made the bus trip here 10/14 to sharpen up their game in preparation for the 6th World Series tilt at San Francisco's Candlestick Park 10/15.
