Hanta waves as Todoroki walks in the room. “Hey, ‘roki!”
He smiles in his soft, Todoroki-like smile that sends butterflies aflight in their chest. “Good morning, Sero-kun.” His head cocks to the side. “What’re you eating?”
“I’m sucking on an orange peel,” they reply. “I tried eating it once, but it was too hard to chew. But I like sucking on them to get all the flavour, you know?” Hanta holds the last bit of the rind out to Todoroki. “Wanna try?”
Todoroki cocks his head to the side in a way that makes him look like a puppy (and, yeesh, it’s adorable). “I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to try.”
“Don’t be so sure,” Bakugou barks. “It’s fucking nasty.”
“Have you ever tried it?”
Silence.
“I assumed as much.” Todoroki sighs, staring at the peel. “Your opinion means nothing to me, then.” With that, he stuffs the entire piece into his mouth and chews it.
