Cleaned my tanks today. The second one is kinda occupied by black beard algae, but I'm slowly killing it with light management and hydrogen peroxide. Also my baby cories doing pretty nice.

Not much has happened with the 140L project tank recently. I had to put down one of the cories, a small fellow who didn’t have its barbels from the beginning and ended up losing his (I believe it was a he) appetite and a lot weight and became lethargic. It was unfortunate, of course, but I’m not too stressed about it because he was never at 100%.

They fellows in the image instead gave me a fright today. One of the was lying on the sand on his side, which isn’t something cories usually do, next to the other one. They stayed like that for what seemed like a long time.

Good old T shape. I guess they are figuring out tantric sex xD

Too bad I didn’t get any video of it because it really looked creepy.

Now I wonder if I should try growing the young to adulthood. It’d be a good time to do that, before I get busy with summertime things

The official chapters will be posted on AO3 (link above), but here is where I sort of throw out ideas that may or may not make it to the final version. Even ideas that I do keep, details are still open to change as I work out the kinks in the plot.

Old Ideas/Concepts:

These are ideas/concepts/snippets that I originally came up with as I was building this world that I probably wouldn’t be including or have deviated from. Some elements of these concepts will still definitely appear in BTSF, just not in the way that I’ve originally drafted it.

{original concept} - no longer in use

{the nie arc} - this has been adopted by a very talented writer and has been turned into an independent story! The nie arc in the story will be different!

{the yi city arc} - I’ve completely scrapped this. I just don’t have space to address this one.

The Ships:

{Wei Wuxian x Lan Wangji} - our boys in an arranged marriage and yet still pining

{Jiang Cheng x Wen Qing } - literally gratuitous self-comfort for all my hopes and dreams that canon never fulfilled

{Meng Yao x Lan Xichen} - I hope to a write a version of MY actually worthy of LXC

{Jiang Yanli x Jin Zixuan} - she can still have a romance even if she’s leading a clan, but Jin Zixuan is gonna have to earn it. It’s not going to be the dominant romantic arch.

but do neons and zebras school together or do they need separate schools

do plecos need a buddy

will panda cories be too big
