Larger than usual Chippendale Period “Roundabout” corner chair, two pierced spats between three turned column supports, leather drop seat and Marlborough legs with box stretchers; English circa 1760. These chairs were originally for men’s dressing but were considered so comfortable they made there way to libraries and reading rooms of the well healed.
