i’ve been so busy and forgetting to take photos/post!!! i’ve spent the last month reading, working on my phd applications, spending time with my loving friends, and battling burnout.
i did make a cutesy vision board for november! :3
goals for this month:
~ work on phd applications
~ move my body at least once daily
~ read at least one chapter of a book daily
~ keep up with my journaling/scrapbooking
~ focus on self-care and loving my body

corporate life is wildly boring! i wish i could share more about my workplace (it’s truly beautiful and quite fancy) but i work in law & media so there is too much sensitive data everywhere :(
being corporate is not glamorous. i’m so bored constantly and have very few tasks to accomplish most days. everyone is quite kind, and it gives me a good excuse to wear business casual all the time, but there are very few other upsides.
cannot wait until i’m back in school (praying that i’ll be accepted into my dream phd program 🙏🏻)

First of all woahhh, it’s already the fourth of June??? Second of all, imposter syndrome is real. I finally got over I.S at work months ago but I deffo felt it again today doing client work 🥺
something interesting about the large amount of free and open source software surrounding microsoft's ecosystem (i'm talking about power apps, not like word), considering bill gates squashed the open source movement in its infancy.
Like you gotta pay for microsoft's software, but to use it efficiently you rely on an army of random nerds who have spent countless hours providing free tools to use to improve your experience.
If you never had a work meeting standing in your kitchen, that interrupted you in the middle of preparing lunch…
Do you really work for a foreigner company??
i hate when my calendar looks like this, id much rather have a solid block then constant small breaks
there isnt enough time between meetings to do any meaningful work but is too much time to do nothing and leave that time as unbillable
