15!
15) five most influential books over your lifetime.
This is actually a good question. Rather tricky, but I think I’ll be able to answer it properly.
Brynhildr, my legendary tome. My very first magical tome, and the only one to actually choose me as its wielder. It holds a special place in my heart.
My very first book on Nohrian history and war tactics. It was part of the reason why I began to find such things interesting, and how I managed to become what I am today.
This one book on shogi from Takumi. I like to think it was influential because I wouldn’t have learned as much with just practice, plus I learned a little more about Hoshido’s native tongue having Takumi and sometimes even Princess Sakura assist me in reading.
This book Niles procured from god knows where. He didn’t tell me how he got it, but Odin seemed rather spooked by its presence and advised me not to read it. So far it’s just on my shelf, untouched, more of a bookend now more than anything.
A sort of journal for me. I already repurposed it into a notebook, but looking back on its pages, I let out a lot of my feelings into it before, and it taught me that keeping it inside wasn’t at all that good, that writing it down or telling someone would be better.
