“So we were a wyrm then... What were we like? What was our strong suit?”
“We and you were a twin-headed wyrm, as big as many other wyrms, spanning mountains with such a size. We and you looked quite a lot like a pillbug, funnily enough.”
“Our and your talent? Hailing the stars of the sky. We and you would cry into the clouds and from it the stars would alight and they’d race across the stars as meteors responded to the call. Unusual for Wyrms since many possessed light and worked with the day, yet we called on the specks of night and the debris in the sky.”
“We and you preferred to consume trees, though we and you were not against the consumption of a town, a nest, or a rival Wyrm. Bloodthirsty and hungering for battle day in and day out. We and you fed on victory but was poisoned by defeat.”
“So we lost to attack and died? Then we reincarnated ourselves like the king... That makes sense. Why did we choose a pillbug to turn into?”
“It was the closest to our shape that could blend in among bugs with your tie to the fortune higher being. A perfect cover to come back into the world. Though, we admit a foul play in pushing it fourth by influencing the lesser higher being.”
“You mean that you’re more powerful than dad?”
“indeed, but your form cant handle it, so I store it here. Within me. That is my purpose. Though, I masqueraded as the teacher’s provided help that faded out. That form couldn’t hold, so I went into a hiding, waiting for the right moment to reveal myself.”
“Do... Do you know anything of Noevel?”
“That’s a matter for another time. You’ve slept all day and you should return, lest you worry the spider any more than you have already.”
“You’re right. Thank you for telling me this...”
“Keep it to yourself.”
“The spider can’t comprehend it. It would hurt her. So keep it quiet.”
