The Pull Of The Weight
Seven steps behind, He stays out of view and reach To remain Barely a part of me, As per my demand.
He once lived inside, But now I drag him along, the saunterer, Tethered to that invisible sinew, attached To my spine.
Ache is When I pick up the pace, and Feel that lead of sinew, pulled Tight.
It's not a sharp Pain, not a lash, flagellating, But it is a continuous gnawing, traveling Through the entirety of my nervous system.
I go on, He tugs, and pulls; His weight suddenly so great That sinew tears at me like a black hole, Swallowing specks of stardust; Unraveling my skin.
I groan. He whines:
My steps are too Thunderous. Too giant. And he is far too little and brittle To keep tumbling In and out of my footprints.
He lies.
Still, if I Opt onward, We, mule-heads, Will tear the thread And I do not think I could survive Another death.
If I stop, I am mocked By the tinkling bells adorning his shoes; Then, I know he is dancing to that tune I, once more, Nearly could Forget.
He will giggle, Oft times I find it obnoxious,
And He will, of course, Vanish
When I look back in anger,
But he wants me To turn around. Look back, And witness his shiny grin When I find out what he has been carrying:
A vast boulder, wrapped in tightest embrace.
From where I am standing, It is but a marble,
But I know its significance, and its weight.
I keep him in view. I try to reach But when I move, he moves:
It's seven steps back. It may not be more; It cannot be less.
That marble, it contains The Galaxy of Us. The one we had shaped, Right at the start.
I soften up. He carries it still.
That's quite the task For such a little Jester-
Heart.

Lithographs from 'John Donne: Songs and sonets' book (1958) by June Wayne
Le muse does not care if I have other things I want to work on - they will drag me into a new fandom regardless. So I usually go along with it just to save myself the trouble.
So yeah. Expect to see some Bendy and the Ink Machine stuff fairly soon. I’ll try not to let it get in the way of other stuff I’m planning, though.
We Kissed
A bursting in Violent disintegration. All matter disassembled, Exposing the weight that Binds us to keep us Assembled as wayfaring vessels As the greatest illusion; the glue That preserves the shape of our effigies Vanished in aether. We were old. We were New. Expanding And compressing; Omni-directionally Accelerating specks of light, And yet, too, the very standstill Of omnipresence. God became Just another name; a lid on the Endless gaze For us, moving beyond borders; unlimited, Until ultimately returning to our trembling Corporealities, readjusting To solidity. Human again, when For a little eternity We were love, Wholly.

Pulling Strings
Tiptoeing on thermals. Ascension beckons; Grand Jeté: pink ribbons unravel, Untied as a passerby star Tugs the marionette strings; Stirs the peonies awake; Steals their petals, So they rise in A twirling, Circling
The dancer.
The cosmic umbra Hums as a plateau Erects.
Its five pillars, First scintillated golden, Liquefy and dissolve At their slowed Star-snatching motion Sending tendrils of steam To swirl with the petals.
Soars, The dancer, Through palm of puppeteer, Till strings, still attached, Fray, And finally
Snap.
A jolt Shudders the atmosphere: Light blooms, unleashed.
Leaving the strings and stems behind, Taking the petals.

Hey look, it’s another picture of my muse, with a slightly updated design!
They might have an updated design but they’re still an asshole
