I’ve deleted previous texts/images because I’d like to not spread as much misinformation as possible, but if you have seen the original posts I am very sorry for any fear I might’ve caused. This sort of public announcement thing is not what I like to do, and all I wanted was to bring awareness to a situation I thought everyone was ignorant of. If I ever do something like this again, I’ll try my best to not let this mistake happen ^^
To sum this up as much as I can—Roblox has been working with a company known as Persona Identities, Inc. that uses the faces of individuals to train their AI for “accuracy,” which can still be inaccurate (hence some of the people getting stuff like 13+ when they’re 21+), and there are also concerns of data leaks that may reveal people’s faces
What you can do is to Not Do The Verification At All until they sort this all out. If you already have done it—no worries! Just please encourage friends and family who haven’t—ESPECIALLY younger siblings. Hopefully Roblox will address this situation soon, so just sit tight.
