❗ Why do you use other idols’ picture and not real person? Do you ship them?
I once made AUs before and using other people’s pictures but even with their faces hidden may cause conflict with the owners.
So, for me, personally, it’s safer to use idols’ pictures that they have already posted on their social media accounts. Secondly, No. I do not ship them.
As much as possible, I want my stories to look as natural as it can get. With that, I scour my favs’ socials and compare what makes the most sense when you put two pictures side by side (for example: two pictures could pass as being in the same place, similar outfits, etc.) Just pictures that would somehow create connections with the plot of the story.
What apps do you use?
I use Phonto, iMessage, and Social Dummy (Socially Dummy has been removed on App Store since Dec. 30 2020. However since I never really deleted mine and the app server was never taken down, I can still use it.)
Where do you find the photos you use on your AUs?
Mostly Pinterest. But I also save photos from Instagram.
