once jamie gets talking about something that excites him, he will NOT stop, even if he knows it’s probably going to bore other people. but he’s excited. too excited to realize half of what he’s saying is muffled by the mask covering his face. “the costume itself wasn’t all that much money -- i mean, kinda, but i can make it back relatively quickly. the only thing that --” and now he notices. “sorry,” he says, yanking the mask off his face and tossing it onto the table. “but the only thing that really made it more expensive was buying the EXTRA stuff at target like the web shooters. kid’s toys are expensive, man, but they work.” he doesn’t have them on, but he moves his wrists as though he’s showing them off. “but yeah. spiderman. i don’t know if that’s lame ‘cause most people going to the party are probably just gonna.. cover half of their bodies instead of all of it.” he offers a shrug of his shoulders, but he’s not actually feeling self conscious about the costume. not really. “i just didn’t wanna be a cowboy or pirate or whatever, y’know??”
