The more and more I see people being mad at AI in general makes me mad as someone who's major is in Machine Learning and my masters will also be in Machine Learning. Most people think of ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or Gemini when it comes to AI and that's all they know about AI well those are all something called Generative AI. There are other AIs that do more good than bad like supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement. For example without reinforcement machine learning we wouldn't have interesting enemies in video games. Generative AI is a plague tbh it should've never been widely available for the public and most businesses, and it has caused many unethical decisions being made, cognitive decline in many heavy users, and environmental harm. Just if you're going to hate something at least be more informed on it please, thank you

5/9/2026 Dev log for CodingCorgi

Working on my system for Unreal Engine and Unity. Will be making a game with it eventually :3 This system so far has a enemy, and environment that remembers how a game is played and adjusts the level and enemy intelligence accordingly even between new games (As in shutting the window and opening up the application again, or opting to start over). You can do traditional level design with static items that never change despite generation being done. I hope everyone enjoys watching my journey as a machine learning student getting their masters eventually :P

!This is machine learning not AI that takes away jobs if anything this transforms how jobs are done not taking away anything (At least I hope not) it should be used as a tool and nothing else!

Side note I've drank an ungodly amount of caffeine in the last month and a half making this and ofc lots of snacks >:)

I felt bored and a bit frumpy so I decided to go spruce myself up a bit and actually straightened my hair! I have completed a whole week's worth of homework in 2 hours as well.

I'm up at 5am mad that people don't understand AI and how it works... My degree is in Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems so I know quite a few things about AI. I know how they are made, I know the mathematics behind it, algorithms, etc. I can say quite a few things about it, and the ethics behind it. I can say this; 1. It's not replacing your job, it's nothing more than a glorified search engine with a NLP (natural language processing) function and generative function, and it's highly prone to hallucinations because surprise surprise it's not human and can only mimic reasoning, and if it was coded to reason like a human the mathematics would be insane and the resources used would take power from the whole United States. 2. You can mimic a relationship with an AI but keep in mind that AI especially NLPs are nothing but glorified parrots that only are designed to tell you what you want to hear it's a feature that's constructed in the feature engineering part of the CHURN process....

Finally finished out the semester! I decided to change my major to Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems from regular Computer Science. Idk I love computer science and all but I really love everything to do with Machine Learning and AI (try to make only for good obviously).

During the summer I'll be working my jobs and enjoying the break.

Going to try again! I failed this year due to drama in my life but 2025 will be better. I present my challenge of coding everyday for a year! Even if it's a couple of minutes and it's something simple it counts!

Today on 12/27/2024 I start with a .Net Maui project where I make a therapy app! It will interface with your therapist so therapy appointments focus more on solutions rather than recapping everything and it takes up 30/45 minutes
