Before the sɪɢɴᴀʟs began many believed that celestial beings would carry their cries for help to their respective Guardians to be addressed.

Now they scream them at their screens instead, and the old messengers are long gone.

The sɪɢɴᴀʟ collects these laments, and will occasionally send them back out along the waves - beaching them on our shores.

Digital devices built today cannot interpret or process these sɪɢɴᴀʟs, protecting users from harmful feedback.

Viewers using older equipment are advised to take precautions to prevent psychologically harmful effects by limiting their exposure to this phenomenon to only a few seconds at a time.

Curious viewers describe a droning howl which lingers in their ears and sharpens their senses for a time, boosting their focus and endurance.

However, once the effect dissipates many have later experienced a voracious hunger followed by disassociative fugue episodes lasting anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of days.

There have been limited cases where The Howling never stops. Without exception these individuals have disappeared, seemingly walking out on their lives and loved ones.
