Padmé is done, after fighting my circumstantial worries over 15 years. Yes, we all know she's heavily pregnant at this point in the movie. Yes, I'm 24 with no intention of ever having kids.

Yes, I'm nervous about cosplaying this outfit because it's not technically accurate and I'm not spending the extra cash for a fake bump.

But I sewed this myself - learned to use a sewing machine and patterns, made drafts and then the real thing. Learned along the way.

And for that alone, I'm proud to be able to wear this.

"Well, it's been on the table for a looooong time, I just never got around to it! I came across the shirt online (random happenstance) and decided it was time to make it happen. It's really nothing to it costume wise! Found the pants at Goodwill, shirt and hat online. The hardest part was finding a legitimate pair of Air Jordan Metallic 5s that weren't $300+. I actually had the whole costume ready for a long time, but part of me couldn't pull the trigger without the right shoes!

#Katsucon has been a blast! People recognize me but it's not until I start dancing that people -really- get it. It's great when I get everyone singing the theme song and dancing with me. As for a favorite experience, so far it's something that didn't even happen at the con! Walking back from a sandwich shop, someone working at a GNC that we passed ran out and screamed "Hey, Fresh Prince!"

It's really a cosplay that hits all levels of recognition, and I love that it can make so many people smile! "

The Tosho-Con Happening

Okay, so i was dying to post this, but here we gooo

So, i went to Tosho-Con as Feferi Peixes, and a group of fellow homestucks and I were playing spin the faygo, and i was kissed by 2 different Eridans Cx It was so funny my freaking fangs fell out i was laughing so hard!!

At a convention one time me and my cousin were changing in the bathroom when we started chatting with Dave Strider and John Egbert cosplayers who turned out to be in the Homestuck panel that day and when we walked in one of them yelled “SHOUT OUT TO THE GIRLS WE MET IN THE BATHROOM!”

The Blue Girl

One time we went to Wallmart in our cosplays ( I was Kaiko, Melanie was Prussia, and Erica was Naruto) and a woman told Erica her whiskers were cute.  Her friend shouted “ARE YOU TALKING TO THE BLUE GIRL” and she shouted “NO THE OTHER ONE” back then told me I looked cute too.

Believe It

One time we went to Wallmart in our cosplays ( I was Kaiko, Melanie was Prussia, and Erica was Naruto) and some random little kids were walking behind us whispering “Is that Naruto?” so Erica turned around and shouted “BELIEVE IT!” and when we ran into them and hour later they were still discussing the plot of the show.

At the last convention I went to allot of people there ate at the McDonald’s across the street so it was almost entirely filled with cosplayers and the employees looked really confused.  When we left we were waiting to cross the street back and and older man asked us if there was some thing going on so we explained and he was really interested and told us to have fun as we walked away.  It was quite possibly my favorite part of the whole convention.

Cosplay and Kissing

Yesterday my best friend and I were making out. I cosplay Nico and she's our Annabeth. We weren't in cosplay thank the gods, that would be awkward. But I am always in a Percy Jackson mood. So we pull away and start giggling. I look into her eyes and say, "Maybe Percy will love me now." I was honestly surprised she didn't hit me. On a side note, yuri makes all the people on campus stop and stare.
