We hadn't rerolled once for this whole challenge, and getting an extinct species' page on eBird with no images attached was Not going to stop us! We had to search elsewhere for photos and drawings of this species, but we're happy to have been able to draw it even though it's gone.

Photo of the Day – The Giant Coua (Coua gigas) is endemic to the dry forests of western and southern Madagascar. They reach lengths of over 60cm and have a blue patch around their eyes – which is characteristic of the coua genus. The species feeds on seeds, insects and some small invertebrates.
