i'm Not A Hater (usually) but when it comes to rote it's like man. i do not get it and that was so frustrating back when i was reading it because it was supposed to be the end all be all of fantasy series and it just didn't live up to that expectation at allllll but oh well <3 i only mention it because i still see people reading it right now who are so completely blown away by it and i think wowwww really. how and why akdkfkakfkfghj which sounds mean but it isn't it was just so not for me. good for them tho good for them

#i'm especially very Question Mark when it comes to the characters because #it's often mentioned as The Series when it comes to characterization #and ignoring fitz because i genuinely just didn't like being inside his head #and with the exception of the fool because i do adore him and he's perfect #the characters weren't super great for me!#like in liveship kennit is such a force of nature to almost the detriment of every other character lol #and the resolution to like. 80% of the character arcs was so disappointing #and i acknowledge that i feel this way because hobb is not my author like at all #i used to think about her writing as having this 'hobbisms' that bothered me deeply #once i started to notice them #but that's part of the frustration because in theory she SHOULD be the author for me #but then i was reading the books and just. nope #couldn't do it #sad sad for me every time i look up series with the best characterization on reddit 😭

is a v nice product if you also get a serious case of the scaly hands during winter

the texture of the product itself is pretty standard lotion consistency, it absorbs quickly, there's only a very slight standard lotion scent if you put your nose right to your skin, and it leaves an awareness that there's something on your skin (think the way dryer sheets feel--nothing rubs off on your fingers, but you are touching something) while remaining non-filmy/greasy

How many projects do I have going right now?

Well, there's college, and then there's my jobs, and then there's the main project, and then there's the 3 side projects, and then there's the back burner projects and then the secret farther back burner projects and then the-

But it's not really that much. I mean, one needs to save time to dissociate for 8hrs a day. #selfcare

#i've utilized a similar scheduling strategy since approximately age 8 #i realized pretty quick that i just Could Not function along the same productivity rules as other people #and figured the best way to deal with this was #if i took on enough projects and things to do i can set myself into emergency mode time-wise enough that i will at least get SOMETHING done #which is much better than getting nothing done because i chose a couple of main things and made a reasonable schedule around them and then #couldn't do it #later it turned out I have aspd and comorbid adhd :)#DID too #'you say you don't have time. well what did you spend today doing?'#fuck if i know #i did Some Things #anyways this system seems to work but it cannot POSSIBLY be the best one bc i feel so burnt out all the time...
