I’m not exactly sure when it started but I know from 2000-2005 anytime you were a panelist at @comic_con whenever they would reset a room for a panel they would give everyone on the panel a #SDCC labeled bottle of water and one of the custom #sandiegocomiccon custom chocolates to help keep your energy up.
