Counter-Hegemony
Counter-hegemony refers to attempts to critique or dismantle hegemonic power. In other words it is a confrontation and/or opposition to existing status quo and its legitimacy in politics, but can also be observed in various other spheres of life, such as history, media, music, etc.
For example when Orlando has his fling with the Russian girl he is breaking the status quo on how a person of his position should act. After all he was engaged at the time, and the particular women he sought after was not even of his own class. Orlando did not care and took it upon himself to be counter hegemonic.
