Went to see the lecture WE BEEN DID THAT by MF PROBLEM (Autumn Knight & Robert Pruitt) two Houston natives now based in NY. It was like a rooting for me. To be educated on Houston’s active and robust community of artists of color was super encouraging and inspirational... to learn about Houston from people that are from Houston is something to experience. So cool finally meeting artists I’ve followed online since moving to Houston in real life and they be welcoming and ready to teach and lead and love and help and be willing to make room for all of us is next level inspiring.
