Aid to the Mockinjay

The past couple weeks were insane for Peeta; trials, tests, screenings, medication, therapy, the works. He wasn’t sure how point a got to point b but he was now on a truck going to a squad that was in the capitol. They said it would look good for the propo’s to see him there though he didn’t believe he should be.

Upon arrival he felt his heart sink and panic begin to set in as he began mumbling to himself over and over again the technique that they had taught Katniss to cope. “My name is Peeta Mellark, I’m from District 12 and I’m a mutt, My name is Peeta Mellark, I’m from District 12 and I’m a mutt” he mumbled in a long incoherent sentence. When he finally looked up to see those who approached him he wasn’t surprised to see an arrow pointed at him and ready to fly.

He averted his eyes contact back to the ground and began going over his list in his head again and again trying to block out the fear consuming him.

Okay, well, I do have a voiceclaim for him, which is already here, and I made another one just for this ask that you can find here. The voice is of Michael Jones from Achievement Hunter, pitched down -3.450%.

His voice never really gets strained or scratchy or anything like that, not unless he’s sick. So essentially, he can be as loud as he wants for as long as he wants and all his voice will do is get deeper out of tiredness. But he doesn’t really yell a lot, not unless something really frustrates him, and then only when alone or in the company of those he trusts. The same thing with swearing — only if he’s going through some really strong emotions, and only around those he trusts a lot. However, his internal monologue has no such restrictions on it, so those recordings (particularly the second one) could be reflections of that.
