The coyote stared at the other canine, flews drawn into a thin line. She could probably eat him. "What- or who are you?"

He was not something she wanted to eat. No, whatever this...man was, the beast wanted no part of it. Instead, she skirts around, attempting to blend into the shadows and slink silently away- all the better to murder, maim, and conceal her presence. Perhaps her mistake was turning her back on the man.
@streetslost liked for a starter. They had not figured they would be discovered- let alone so quickly. Tongue lashes out, drawing the viscera covering her maw to her lips where she inhales the flesh as if it were the finest ambrosia. the monster's massive head shakes a little as teeth clatter together in the ten-foot tall frame.
The sound that draws her eyes away from the corpse's scattered remains draws a quiet growl from the creature, a single eye staring at the source of the sound- an intruder. One who the beast thinks of eating as her forepaws splay out on the ground, blood sticking the tufted fur in several directions. Would they run? Or face the beast?
Forest Dweller || Cflight
@cflight A visitor. Single, green eye turns up to the creature approaching- they do not think they have been spotted yet. The tiny flesh about the exposed nasal structure flutters as bones clatter together on the beasts’ face. They take in the scent, listen to the approaching heart beat and….hooves? Perhaps a deer? Yet this…does not sound or feel like any deer the creature has ever known. They step over the remains of the body just consumed; the smear left behind from gorging uselessly. There was nothing much left besides a hand full of gore, anyway. They had been thorough in dismantling the bandit they were lucky enough to find. Regardless, they wait; patiently crouching the fourteen feet of coiled monster at the far edge of the clearing, crouched akin to a big cat, though the shape is utterly wrong. Tentacles writhe, tying themselves into knots in endless rhythmic patterns as they clean themselves of the gore, picking bits of bone from between the teeth of each gaping maw. Who comes to them?

It couldn’t have been helped- ill luck had seen the demon caught in a rain storm, with little place to go. The sudden storm had been utter chaos and agony on the shell of a body they still wore- ragged and tired from the extended use. The rain, a magical affect or not, had nearly washed all that kept it together away; leaving a foul pile of rot for anyone to discover, had they let it decompose as such. They need a quiet, dark place close to the ground. They need a sustenance for repairing their wounds; already insects flock to the body to contribute what they can, melding seamlessly with the wounds the rain rips into her. Luckily, a dumpster would do just fine- the pungent odor would not bother them for long. Rolling into the dumpster, they land bonelessly, appearing the shape of a young human woman. As the beast slips from consciousness, effectively leaving the shell behind to recover, they are unaware of the unfortunate circumstances that occur to the body as it lay returning to shape in the dumpster. When a neighbor had dropped a bag of trash in, only to discover a human body with no pulse or wounds, it only made sense the path of events would lead the body to rest across a coroner's table, a Jane Doe with no markings. Of course, this is when the spirit returns to the body; the beast once again inhabiting it’s shell and settling in, unaware until this very moment that the body has been moved, or that she might not be alone.

“Well, well, well...” She can’t help but let a little hunger seep into her voice. It has been a line time since she has crossed paths with a fabled unicorn. “What have we here?”

Wolves, in general, did not tolerate coyotes in their territory- so when she realizes she is quiet down wind of the wolf she's just caught scent of, she freezes, eye turning to look towards where she suspects the wolf might be. Would they give chase?
The Beast Appearance:
Fur: Greasy black-green color, with a highlight of green-blue, something akin to the chitin of an insect shell. Fur is stuff and greasy, room-temperature.
Parasites: Splitting the dorsal surface of the cranium, the ventral surface of the throat, and the ventral surface of the tail. Each appears to be a mouth, surrounded with thick tentacles.
Eye: Singular, as always, the pupil is always dilated.
Mouth: The lower third of the snout is now exposed bone, showing incisor and canine teeth, nasal bone, premaxilla, and infraorbital foramen. Because of this, drool- a lot, though sometimes kept in check with very long tongue.
Forelimbs: more akin to “arms” then legs, the shoulder muscles are pulled down and an extra joint makes the thin appendages look to be more human. the paws are more hand like, complete with extra joint on each toe, and thumb. Capable of lateral movement, as well as handling general objects.
Trunk: emaciated, ribs, hips and spine exposed as fur is thinnest here. A long, super flexible spine much like a cheetah’s makes for easier running.
Hindquarters: slightly more narrow then shoulders, built with human-esque calf muscle, as to facilitate standing. Paws are fairly big, with wide flexible toes.
Tail: Despite appearances, tail is thin- fur making the tail look larger. A perfect counterbalance to leap, or run.
Behavior:
Vocalization: When in an aroused state (such as fearful, curious, excited) chatters teeth rapidly together, making an insect like noise. Shrieks, growls, and other sounds range from clicking to full out mimicry of noises. (Vocalizations similar to the velociraptors from Jurassic Park.)
Locomotion: At a full out sprint, all four feet can come off the ground in a full gallop, though she must slow to turn. Walking can be done on two or four legs, though she prefers to walk on all four.
General: Moves very much like a bird, with head bobbing, quick motions and other such movements.
More to add, if I think of it.
