Why is Your ResMed CPAP Making Noise When Inhaling?
There are a few common reasons why your ResMed CPAP machine might make noise when you breathe in. A clogged or dirty filter, a kinked or damaged hose, an ill-fitting mask or incorrect pressure settings and so forth could all be to blame. In some instances, it could be the sign of a machine malfunction.
How to Fix It:
Change or clean the filter regularly.
Inspect the hose for obstructions or leaks.
Flag Adjust your mask for a better seal.
Check your pressure settings with your health care provider.
Noise can be minimized if maintenance and setup are done properly. If the noise persists, please contact ResMed support for assistance.
