Book release from CphCph: The Night is Ours (Natten er Vores) is a book and a photo exhibition in Copenhagen, from April 11th to April 23rd at Le Fix, Kronprinsensgade 9B, Copenhagen.
I came across the boys from CphCph in 2011, while being PR & Communications Manager at Copenhagen Design Week. Their photos of urban Copenhagen fascinated me, and I became a fan from first sight. Anders and Thue, the two Copenhageners behind CphCph have now released their first book showring their fascination about the night, in an urban setting. Besides their own CphCph pictures, they have invited 5 people to contribute to the book with texts hovering around the night and the city. The 4 texts are from Peter Schepelern, associate professor in Film and Media studies, Kim Herforth Nielsen principal architect at 3XN, Sek & Sabe who has been painting graffiti since the 80's and Simon Dokkedal an award winning DJ who finds inspiration and creativity in the night.
I couldn't join the release party last night, but I am happy to share the news with you. And if you are in Copenhagen before April 23rd, DO visit the exhibition and buy the book ;)
