In light of recent events, I will be back in Castleport this upcoming week and focusing on spending time with my family while we navigate this situation at hand. I’ll also be giving a press statement at the town hall, so, if anyone wants to come to that or whatever...it’s on Wednesday.
Whenever I’m having a weird day at work I try to remember nothing will ever come close to the weirdness that was the time back in Boston when this guy insisted on getting his wife’s name...well let’s just say in a really...sensitive area. Really puts those complaints about tribal tats into perspective.
It hasn’t even been a week since my birthday, and the reality of actually being 30 is still as wild as it ever was. I’m honestly starting to wish I’d gone out and done something a bit more exciting to celebrate and kick it off, though getting drinks with my staff and cuddling with Salem and horror documentaries back at my apartment wasn’t the worst thing, right?
Even if you lie, please just agree with me.
You know what I’ll never get used to? Hospitals. They all smell the same and their cafeteria food is absolutely disgusting. One of the many reasons I’m glad this isn’t a part of my weekly routine anymore.
Not really sure what ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ is about, but I just got my ticket to the biggest event in Castleport. I think I can get away from the department for one night, or at least volunteer to work detail. Anyone else gonna check it out?
Now that Christmas is over and I have a couple more days until I head back to my actual life, who’s taking me out for a drink?
Before I get stopped again trying to to get some gas in this weather, I’m home alright? So what are we going to do the next time anyone sees me? We’re going to make sure we’re indoors before we get to chatting.
Honestly, more and more lately I wonder how easy it would be to leave Castleport again and never return. Then I’m reminded that the reason I returned is still at large and that thought is destroyed.
