Communication Development Support at Emerald Hills Medical Centre

At Emerald Hills Medical Centre, we know communication plays an important role in a child’s holistic development and well-being. That’s why we provide services delivered by a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPAA).

Our speech pathologist will work with children and adolescents who may have a range of communication needs. Services include support for receptive language, expressive language, speech clarity, fluency (stuttering), as well as literacy (reading, writing, spelling). In addition, we also work with children on developing social skills, i.e. engaging with peers and adults, and provide individualised support for children with Autism Spectrum conditions or developmental delays.
