"Memory is a funny thing. I wept at the thought that I had lost something so dear, and in weeping, I realized I had walked too far from those memories. The things I felt are dear to me even when they hurt."
I know this man is a professional storyteller and improviser, but damn.
Bolaire in episode 4 like 'I'm going to open my secret archive 😔'
And everyone gasps and goes 'omg his bolussy....'
rewatching the m9 season finale for the first time and originally i was like “wow this episode has so much good stuff that i haven’t even thought twice about how they finally gave us widofjord held at swordpoint moment” but unfortunately i think i must conclude that this is because widofjord held at swordpoint moment wasn’t very good in adaptation :( in the campaign that scene was notable because 1) it felt like there was a real question of whether the group would come to blows—it wasn’t a coherent party yet + 2) pacing-wise it was like a held breath in the action where you were suspended there waiting to see what would happen. making it part of a fast-paced montage severely undercut 2, and 1 came across differently because fjord had already had his moment where he decided whether to abandon the party to die and caleb had likewise already stuck it out through a major disagreement with beau. however if this scene didn’t get included i would have been grumpy so i ultimately must be grateful even if it should’ve been positioned earlier in the season
hey guys so what is that ending
mister willingham…. Now is your chance for a order of the lycan character….. please sir
like he died but then he got to be one of the most important parts of the story and the ending <3 he literally won even though he lost <3 like LITERALLY long may he reign <333
What can I say? The mighty nein mean a lot to me. C2 was the first thing from critical role I got to know (Listening to c1 atm and just finished thordak) and everyone of the crew grew so close to my heart. I always build strong connections to characters but this world, damn. Every character is relatable and feels real. Not just the pcs. Matthew is just awesome at this. He built a world where everyone gets what they deserve and victims are heard. Many of the characters speeches hit me hard too. I don't really know what else to say than thank you. Thanks to the crew, but also to all the fans. For just chatting live the few times I could but also all the incredible art Work, Video and FF content out there. I wanted to say so much more about individual characters and storylines but I'm still drowning in tears ( only when Matt started to conclude it all I bursted, the pcs wrapping up was great and felt true to them but Matt saying his goodbye and everyone tearing up got me) with the fan art real music in the background I'll go to sleep now and hope to see anyone reading this in c3. Feel free to chat me up
Don't forget to love each other
