The Schemers' day are always so packed that one day feels like multiple each time. I'm glad they finally managed to bury Thjazi, the scene was beautiful (I felt so bad for Shadia, Hero and Ogus though as they seemed to have waited a long time).
Both Murray and Hal having finally the time to say the goodbye they wanted to Thjazi was cathartic. I love that Murray reavealed why she wasn't at the execution and how it had weighted on her mind to having done so. How she hopes she will live up to what he had seen in her. The fireflies she made for him. I love that Hal made his speech for Thjazi about being welcomed home.
Also Brennan saying at the end that now that all the rituals, the ceremony has been done, Hal has nothing left to do for his brother besides feeling what he's feeling about him and carrying it with him was very poignant.
The whole time they were talking about hiding the swords at the theater I couldn’t help but think about the part in Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett where they decide to hide the real crown in with the prop crowns:
“She was very keen on the theater. They’ve got more crowns than you can shake a stick at although, mind—” she paused—“Goodie did say they’re made of tin and paper and stuff. And just glass for the jewels. But they look more realler than this one. Do you think that’s strange?”
“Things that try to look like things often do look more like things than things. Well-known fact,” said Granny. “But I don’t hold with encouraging it.
i bolaire i love bolaire he's the character of all time i love everything abt this concept love love love
The fact that the dices are always giving Marisha good rolls when dealing with Kora so far is hilarious to me.
I hope it continues for as long as possible so that when Murray decides to oppose her (or if she has the possibility to do so at some point) Kora ends up flabbergasted at the "betrayal".
Azune SO CASUALLY getting a man fired… hot.
The fact that the Lady Cormoray(/Brennan) reminded us the Photarch wanted to meet with Hal about Wick makes me think they're going to come see him really soon (maybe next episode ??).
Would be funny if they waited until the Soldiers' table came back and Wick just presented himself at his house while they interrogated Hal (but that would be too much of a stretch haha).
I love that Azune always has a to do list for their meeting and it seems never ending because each thing they cross on it give them even more to check and do.
