The one in which I pattern hacked the @thecrafterpreneur‘s Catarina dress and made it in a stretch velvet with full chiffon sleeves. I used less than 1,5 m of stretch “nicky” velvet (so soft!), 1 m of black stretch charmeuse for the lining and around 0,7 m of black chiffon (which I should’ve definitely bought more of when I realised I was gonna make full length sleeves! It’s very comfortable yet fancy, and also makes an excellent witchy dress for halloween.
And I actually made the effort to thread trace each pattern piece!
For the bottom: I added the length of the ruffle to the pattern piece, and you can definitely get away with no darts if you use a stretch material (and no zipper). I used some black pearl buttons to close off the back.
