Trip to KYOTO, August 2020 - Day1 Night in Kyoto

Good Evening from surprisingly quiet Kyoto, when there are no tourists in the city. We had a walk around Ninenzaka, where the hotel is located, and then went to have dinner at Shijo-Kawaramachi.

おばんどす。夜の京都からおおくりいたします。観光客がいないと、こんなにも京都は静かなんですね。ホテルのある二寧坂あたりを散歩した後に、四条・河原町の方へ晩ご飯に行ってきました。

ご飯を食べに四条の方までいったのですが、良さげなお店はなく。ちゃんと調べて予約しておくべきだった。。。

とりあえず適当なお店でおばんざいを。（なんか大学生がお店の運営をしているレベルのかんじで、ドリンクもフードもまずくはないんだけど雑多なかんじだった〜。市場で買ってきたお惣菜の味、程度のクオリティで残念。）

Bar琥珀から遠くに見えたルーフトップバーが気になって、LO前に滑り込みで訪問した「The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu」のルーフトップバー。

そんなに高層階ではないのですが、周りの建物が低いのでいい感じに夜景が見えるし、天気も良くて気持ち良い。

ドリンクメニューは普通かな〜。閉店前でバー利用のみなのにガッツリチャージが取られたので（当たり前っちゃ当たり前なんだけど）、行くなら早めの時間が良いかと思います。デスクの真鍮のライトが可愛い。

ジンフェスト東京2018 天王洲アイルにて ここ数年ウィスキー人気が高まり、各蒸留所の原酒が底をつき始めてきた。その中で小規模な蒸留酒が産声をあげ初年度からの売上を上げるためジンを造り始めている。国内では焼酎の蒸留所があらたな売上を求めてジンを造ったり。今、面白い動きを見せているのがクラフトジンだと感じている。 今回は国内初のジンのフェスに潜入調査してみた。試飲は15種、ハードリカーを15杯は酔っ払ってしまう量。なんとか出来る限り数をこなしてきた。 個性様々なジンに出会えて新しい知見を得れたのは大きな財産だ。 #ジン#ジンフェス#GIN#クラフトジン#craft#craftgin#天王洲アイル#フェス#酒#蒸留酒#東京 (GINfest.TOKYO)
