Finally got to check out the Making Memories: Quilts as Souvenirs show art @artinstitutechi ! The quilts are *astonishing* and the show does a great job of representing styles, eras and techniques. Not only that, they also do a great job analyzing the cultural nuances behind the imagery and social contexts of creators. If you’re in #chicago you should definitely catch this show!
