15, 34, and/or 40

15. i guess now. i feel like i am more satisfied with myself and embrace the 'serenity prayer' as i get older (i.e.-accept what you can't change, change what you can, internally and externally). i also try not to kick my own ass as much. that doesn't mean there's no stress or worry or upset, but in the most general sense, doing that makes life a lot easier to deal with.

34. physical pain-where to start on the list...breaking both bones in my forearm sucked tremendously, hyperextending both knees was no picnic either. right up there was getting back spasms which doesn't sound bad, but they were pretty awful.

40. endings-ok, so the ending of my first volvo: i was 19 & working at the cafe in barnes & noble (the one just north of kennedy), driving home from work on friday afternoon when 'just a job to do' by phil collins came on the radio, so i looked down to change the radio and drive into the back of a truck. it was totaled by the insurance company.

postscript: about two months later, i was at an intersection when i looked up and saw my car drive by with a family in it. the auto body place put a brand new front clip on it and resold it.
