Goth musician Sindy invites fans and language lovers to take part in a unique Pig Latin music challenge inspired by her song The Murmur In The Mural. In this video, Sindy explains why Pig Latin isn’t just a joke or novelty to her, but a creative tool she uses selectively—guided by rhythm, sound, and emotion rather than rigid rules.
Instead of converting every word, Sindy weaves Pig Latin into her lyrics where it feels musical and meaningful, allowing hidden phrases and subtle textures to emerge. In this challenge, she encourages others to experiment with Pig Latin in their own way—any genre, any style, strict or broken rules.
This is not a contest. There are no prizes or winners. The goal is creativity, exploration, and shared inspiration.
To participate, viewers are invited to create their own Pig Latin song and share it by leaving a comment on one of Sindy’s Pig Latin songs on her official website. In the comment, participants should include a link to their song and a brief note about their creative process and how they approached Pig Latin.
If you love language, music, or experimenting with sound, this challenge is for you.

SCRIPT:
Hey. I want to talk to you for a minute.
If you’ve heard my Pig Latin songs, you probably noticed something right away — I’m not converting every word.
That’s intentional.
For me, Pig Latin isn’t a novelty. It’s a creative tool. I love how it hides meaning in plain sight. How it can feel private… rhythmic… almost emotional when it’s used the right way.
In The Murmur In The Mural, Pig Latin shows up where it feels musical, not where rules say it should. I let sound lead. I let cadence lead. And sometimes I leave words untouched because clarity matters just as much as mystery.
That balance is what excites me.
So I want to challenge you.
If you love Pig Latin — or if you’ve never tried using it musically — I want you to write your own Pig Latin song. Any genre. Any style. Be strict with the rules… or break them completely. Let it be strange. Let it be emotional. Let it be playful or dark or beautiful.
This is not a contest. There are no prizes. There’s nothing to win.
This is about experimenting with language and sound, and seeing what happens when Pig Latin stops being a joke and starts being music.
If you decide to take the challenge, here’s how to share it.
Go to one of my Pig Latin songs on my official website and leave a comment. I'll put a link to them in the description. In your comment, include a link to your song, and a few words about how you approached Pig Latin — what rules you followed, what rules you ignored, and why.
I really want to hear how you think about it.
So if this idea sparks something in you — even just a little — take the challenge.
I can’t wait to hear what you create.
