A fusion twist on classic sushi, combining the flavors of mussels and pomme frites for a unique and delicious roll.
Ingredients: 200g sushi rice. 4 sheets nori seaweed. 200g mussels, cooked and shelled. 100g pomme frites French fries, cooked. 50g cucumber, julienned. 50g carrot, julienned. 4 tbsp sushi vinegar. Soy sauce, for dipping. Pickled ginger, for serving. Wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to make the sushi rice, then mix it with the sushi vinegar. On a sushi rolling mat, put a sheet of nori. Cover the nori sheet with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a small edge at the top. Line up the cooked mussels, pomme frites, cucumber, and carrot along the edge of the rice's bottom. Use the mat to roll the sushi up tightly, and use a little water to seal the edge. With a sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into small pieces that are easy to eat. Do it again with the rest of the ingredients. Add soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi to the sushi before you serve it.
