Worn 4 months ago, actually not worn anywhere, just responding to a prompt which was really fun.

Tangentially, when I was growing up my mom would sometimes refer to a coat as a wrap, which I never heard anyone else say, and then two days ago I heard it in Barbara Stanwyck movie. FYI I love Barbara Stanwyck.

Creative Writing Prompt - Letter To Your Future Partner 💌

Whether or not you currently have a significant other, we all dream of getting married. Though some of us are still looking or waiting for that certain someone.

Writing a letter to your other half, or someone that you have not yet met, might seem a bit silly to some people, but it can be carthartic to commit your thoughts and wishes to paper.

Some things that you can think about are:

Things you would want the other person to know about you

What you value in a partner or if you are already in a relationship, what you love about them

What you hope for from a relationship, or marriage, including specific wishes or scenarios

Romantic desires or expectations that you have

Whatever, or whoever you are writing for, write from your heart. If you're not in a relationship, keep the letter open in it address.

Once you've written the letter to your satisfaction, you can keep this letter to yourself, or give it to your lover or spouse once you meet them.

Who has inspired creativity in you?

See, this is a hard question. For me, it’s anything around me—work, family, school, Youtube, anything. Some events might not bring the bursts of creativity I’m looking for while other events do.

Like, two hours ago—probably around 8:50 PM or so—I had a brilliant idea of making a phone ringtone using Wheatley from Portal 2, which is compromised of him just saying “hello” or whatever to get someone’s attention. This was inspired by a fellow Tumblr user here (can’t remember the username) who used Wheatley’s “Hello!” as their notification sound. 

(I’m getting there... slowly, but I’m getting there.)

It’s going to be a mess, I assure you, but I hope to get it finished, as I really want this ringtone by the time school starts. So, I gotta start experimenting with BandLab (app for Android-powered Chromebook) and maybe I can give a little sample of it or something...

A Strange Voyage Art Book?

Joe Baxter-Webb, the creator behind my favorite twitter bot a strange voyage is looking for artists to be involved in a @str_voyage art book.

One reason that I’m so fond of the twitter bot is that it is very good at creating imagery with its brief descriptions. Many artists have already been inspired by it in the past, and I expect many more will find it to be a rich source of mood and inspiration.

Procedural generation has been used for creativity prompts, serendipity engines, and inspiration sources from the beginning. For example, the random tables in roleplaying games aren’t there to dictate the exact outcome of the game, they are there to inject elements for the players to bounce off of and find challenging.
