I was nervous about doing an interview with Avery Nakashima for his podcast, 📣 but he’s a very nice guy 😊 & he put me at ease. @sacredvisionstudio & I have been connected for years on IG. Their talented family creates a lot of positivity through their art. 🖌️ He asked me some general questions about me and my background 📷 & what led me to write my book. 📖 He asked about running a pre-launch campaign. 🚀 I have to say it was stressful, but @newdegreepress guided me through the process. 🧭 I don’t remember what I said during the interview with Avery, 🎤 but when the podcast is ready, I’ll mention it in a post & share the link in my bio. 🔗 He asked me to recommend other artists to interview 🧑🎨 & I have a few in mind! Is there a creative you’d like to know more about? 🎨 Nearly a year & a half ago, Professor @erickoester asked if I’d ever wanted to write a book. 📕 I did & I learned how through #CreatorInstitute. Until that point I’d never written anything longer than 5,000 words. 📃 I felt uncertainty about being able to pull it off. I felt uneasy about putting myself “out there” and asking for support. 😲 I didn’t know how to write a book. 📑 I didn’t know if I could do any of it. 😱 But I learned how! But that was only part of it. The pre-launch wouldn’t have succeeded without your support. 🤗 Every share, every pre-order & every contribution was instrumental to the campaign’s success. It’s incredibly humbling & I can’t thank you enough. 🙏 If you’ve been wanting to write a book,✍️ you can convert your desire to reality.
