Creature Feature Valentine’s Day Cards 2021  I am not feeling great this year, fear fans! Also, I’m messing with the style, I wanted the comics to look at least a little more like the real band, but I don’t know if I actually like it…. Also, getting these to even scan was a huge pain. Creature Feature Valentine’s Day Comics 2020 The cards this year had a few issues. For some reason I thought I accidentally made Erik left-handed and Curtis right-handed, so I began inking them as mirror images to make up for it. (Which you can see with Curtis’s hair parting on the wrong side. Then again, his hair actually parts on the right so maybe it’s an improvement...) I caught myself at the last minute and since Curtis’s tattoo is one of the last things I ink I was able to put it on the correct arm. Erik needed a but of editing on his face, though, and I actually wrote Erik’s lettering backwards so I had to digitally edit that as well. While gearing up to scan them I ripped a chunk off Curtis’s card so this year was full of odd mistakes. For the comic after the next one I’ll be doing a slight re-design of them to look more like how they look in real life. You can see a bit of it on Erik with his face. Well, this was a pain in the butt to work on. (Mostly because I’m really tight on deadlines and have done nothing but comics for the past few weeks.) I still like drawing Collin whenever I can, though. Sorry it looks a bit messy! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

It’s 3 AM, I just finished an entire can of Pringles, and this probably isn’t finished but I promised to post WIP of the next book. I want to do more of the really detailed and exciting panels, but a lot of them spoil the plot.

Happy Halloween a day late! I have to download an older version of the coloring program I use. Mine updated and now it won’t save as anything other than a PNG or an XCF file. Since I usually work with TIFF and PSD, that’s not good. Also, I wanted to make Erik a werewolf because he never gets to be a werewolf.

Happy Independence Day, fear fans! I hope you’re not doing what my neighbors are doing and attempting to light your house on fire for a third time! About this year’s comic: I can’t believe it’s the FIFTH time I’ve made one of these! Also, I think this is the first time Vic has interacted with Curtis and Erik face to face, a few years ago they mentioned him in another Fourth of July comic, but so far they haven’t been seen together.  This entire thing was a huge pain to work on because the physical drawing got ruined halfway through inking, and the special lighting was an absolute nightmare to figure out. I still like how it came out, though. Fireworks brushes were made by Digital Yardsale. Art, comic idea, and Vic rankenstein are copyright Cadaver Comics and M. Ziliak. St. Patrick’s Day 2016! (This is in direct reference to last year’s comic.) This is late since I couldn’t get my scanner online for a while. But, it’s here now! Also, Collin’s back and this is the first time I’ve ever drawn him smiling. I really like drawing Collin. His personality’s changed over the years, too... Anyway, here’s St. Patrick’s Day with a bit of Christmas thrown in. Hope you all had a good holiday!
