So many Nightmares, so many. It wasn’t fair for such a little girl to have so many Nightmares drawn to her. Ven wasn’t about to let them go through the night all afraid and alone. That wasn’t what a Dream Eater did, no way. The others would never let him hear the end of it if he left this little girl alone; as if he would anyway.
It was a good thing he was big, most of the little critters ran off before he jumped over the little red-haired girl’s form and started chasing them.
He only came back when they were gone, at least from what he could smell. Head low to the ground, making himself as small as possible while still keeping a considerable distance away from the little girl. He didn’t want to scare her, no; the others told him he had to be careful about that part.
“Hrn~?” The Dragon themed Dream Eater purred, hoping she would not be too fearful anymore. All the bad dream eaters were gone for now after all, he was only there to help.
