How to make a crew page
This was requested so ya
i'm gunna show you how to make a crew page bc i'm epic yayayaya but i'm going to install a crew page by urfaith aka cyrusnigga it's the white theme but there's a black version as well here's the link to the theme.
okay so first off you're going to need to click the code link
that's going to take you to a page that looks like this one, you're going to copy the code; a shortcut for that is CTRL+A
you're going to go to where you customize your theme ya and you're going to scroll down until you see a place where it says pages, you may have to click on the word pages to reveal a link that says "add a page" you're going to click that. ((lol ignore my links and shit))
when ju click that you're going to get a page that looks like this one. I want you to click the arrow next to standard layout, when you click that arrow there should be three options; Standard Layout, Custom Layout, and Redirect.
I want you to click "custom layout" and then paste the code for the theme in that box.
okay so you need to write something in the box labeled "Page URL" write something simple it's just the url for your crew page it could be clique or wolfpack or anything you want it's just important for you to write something in that box and then click the button labeled "create page"
You're going to edit the HTML. Now you don't have to be good with HTML to do this, it's fairly simple even if it looks extremely confusing. First off you need to scroll to the top of the code and keep calm ok lol. Now you need to continue to scroll down until you see what is in the picture. ((keep in mind that all the crew pages have different codes some have sidebars and some have other things that you need to edit first)) It says "LOVING THE CREW" you will copy that and write whatever you want there examples; Whores, Cunts, My babies, yadayadayada
you'll scroll down a little further and you will see what's in the picture below. if you read, it will tell where you can write a description if you want to, you don't have to it's just an option. I prefer it without a description but it's up to you. Below the section where you can write a description there's a code and you'll see home above message and above tags, this is what will be the links at the top of your crew page. If you don't have tags you can make the last link dashboard or w/e you want but you will have to copy /tags and make it the url of where you want the link to take you such as for tumblr dashboard it'd just be http://tumblr.com/ and then you'd copy the word tags and replace it with the word dashboard
After you finish that you're going to scroll down a bit further until you see what's in the picture below. This is where it starts to look scary but pls don't freak out or anything it's not that scary it's fairly simple, alright bby? okay now you're going to look for something tht says "URL" or for another theme it might say "URLHERE" or smth like that ok and that's where you're going to paste the first person in your crew page's url so when you click their name it will take you to their tumblr, okay? Alright so post the url ((example: http://cumpregdead.tumblr.com/)) there. Make sure to only copy the http://url.tumblr.com/ don't copy the " " because you need those to make it work ok. Then you're going to write the person's name where it says PERSON'S NAME (kind of self explanatory but thought i'd tell you lol) So there you'd write Jasmine or you'd write like My Pimp or a cute nickmane or smth w/e. Then you're going to write in the little section that says about me like a billion times, you're going to write a short little nice thing about the person or w/e tf u want you can see in the picture that i just wrote smth stupid ya okay
next ju r gunna scroll down just a little bit and you're going to see a url for a picture, there is where you're going to put a picture for your friend, now for my crew page i have pictures of people hugging and shit but a lot of other people like to have icons of the celebrities their friends are anons of either works I suppose you just want to make sure the picture is small/ big enough that it won't fuck up the theme that's why icons work best if you're going to use celeb pics lol. but you're going to left click on the picture you want to use and click "copy image url" and paste the image url over the one in your crew page. does that make seeeenseee? i hope so. omg but if you want to use a hugging picture or cute friends pictures the link to one of those sites are right here. If you want to use icons you can just search in like selena gomez icons in the little search thing on tumblr and ya there you goooo
basically you're going to do that for each one, just repeat the process. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR PROGRESS when you're done it should look smth like this
if you need more slots for your friends, like say you need an extra one because you have another friend that NEEDS to be in your crew you just copy from beginning of the member to the end of the member (make sure to hit enter before pasting below a slot thingy okay???? but in the picture i'm just showing you what to copy lmfao.
