I went to a quilt retreat this week. It was so much fun and so productive! I was able to make 4 crib sheets and 8 reusable cloths, I finished a patchwork ghost stuffie, I bound 4 quilts and added a hanging sleeve to one of them.
I also made 3 tops. Two for a friend’s twin due soon.

I hate making crib sheets. Just give us a goddamn formula sheet if we need one! Crib sheets take time away from useful review (such as solving sample problems and thinking back on concepts) and give horrible hand cramps. Your crib sheet is only a testament to how small you can write and NOTHING ELSE.
One thing I love is when professors allow a test to be totally open-note. This means that you actually learned something in their class that can't just be looked up easily online. But it also means the test isn't just going to be regurgitating formulas -- oh no. It's gonna actually involve your thinking brain. Those are good tests, those are good classes.
(fun fact...the professor for my class that has an open-note final actually has a beard like that)

I managed to finish another of the main blocks for my Sew Place Like Home quilt. I also made eight more of the border blocks. The hearts are sparkly! I have 4 more main blocks to make and two more sets of border blocks to go. I’m about halfway done.
Last night I whipped up a couple of flannel crib sheets for my granddaughter. They are so cute and very easy to make!
Don’t know if I’ll get a chance to sew tonight. The water filter on the camper was frozen this morning so there were some morning shenanigans being done. Here’s hoping everything is ok when I get back to the camper tonight. I’m ready to start on Glinda the good witch! All of the blocks and border blocks are cut out so progress is being made.
I was asked to pattern test a small quilt and a block so need to get on those. I signed up for a BOTW (block of the week) So would like to cut those out too.
