will I? Eventually. Any time soon? I dunno. Funnily enough, characters like Adrian are the hardest for me to write as/for. I really need to get in the right headspace for him.

don’t get me wrong, I adore that little murder muffin and he’s one of my favorites. But. tbh Adrian gets more than enough love from the fanbase for x reader fics. so he’s not my top priority. I also, admittedly, try to be as canon compliant as possible with my fics and have v high standards. I uhhhhh don’t really like how most ppl in the fanbase characterize him especially with all the new info we’ve gleaned about his personality/behavior from these newest eps

tl;dr yes but not right now? Maybe after I finish my Economos and Murn fics.

as a clinically insane person i unfortunately have a serious weakness for whump!reader but i did NOT expect this one coming which made it all the more delectable.

like first the reveal that reader’s obviously very different in earth two, then that they were married to alt john, then that alt john died, then that john was a son of liberty, then that reader’s dead in earth one, AND THEN A DEATH SCENE???????????? be still my bleeding heart

honestly it was a lot of "fun" (in quotations bc I totally was tearing up writing the fucking graveyard scene) exploring John's character and him existing in that world and grappling with the various existential crises he had. I have some headcanons abt John that definitely filtered their way into this fic lmao. and any excuse to write tense dialogue scenes >>>>> I still had to sprinkle in a *little* humor bc that's just the crisis guarantee baybeeee

who knows. I may write more tragic reader fics in the future but it definitely won't be as dark, not for a while. writing that one destroyeddd meeee

I had to subject other people to my sadness ok!!! that last episode had me hyperventilating and the thought of John meeting not his alternate self but alternate you instead and the life he had was just toooooo good to not write. it was inspired by James Gunn saying his alternate version was not gonna appear in the show & I spiraled from there

no worries cause my next few fics are wayyy funnier. and happier. and lots of smooches and stuff 😘💋
