I know this is a weird thing to be proud of... but this little hobby of mine (endlessly taking photos of fictional characters inside a fictional world and posting them online...) ...I’m pretty good at it... I post lots of pictures that are pretty basic - the ones that are easy to achieve - the ones I’ve posted dozens of and so has everyone else... but I also sometimes manage ones like this and it just makes me so happy when I snap something I haven’t seen on my own camera roll before. So many of them anyone could take at any time, but for some of them there are dozens of factors working in my favor in order to achieve the final product - like this one - Gladio had to be crispy. Prompto had to be having a melt-down... Gladio’s face... The fact that they’re standing near each other and also facing me... and we’re in Steyliff dungeon, so the bois had to not be in attack stance - which they usually are in most of this dungeon... Sometimes the lighting is shit in these dungeons too - so I had to find a corner that worked with that... I’m just saying... it wasn’t easy.

You’re all not seeing even half of the total photos I take in this game. Most of them I delete immediately... Sometimes I stand with my camera out just waiting on a certain expression or gesture... I’ve got over 400 hours logged away in this game and more than half of them happened after I’d already won, after I’d done every side-quest there is... I know I’m ridiculous, but I really enjoy taking photos of these exact characters in this exact world on this game’s exact fictional camera. Waiting for perfect moments and snapping them to share with the internet is legit one of my favorite things... This part of the game hit me right in the autism and I love it.

Anyway... I’ve perfected this very unmarketable skill and have been having so much fun with it... I guess that’s worth something.
