As an FYI, as this may surprise/bother some followers, at the moment I am planning on watching OUAT this season, which means that: A. There will likely be snarky and critical commentary during/after each episode. B. I just wanted to set the expectation for people who may not want to hear about the show, for various reasons.

I understand why some people don't want to watch anymore / want to boycott, especially after what happened this summer.  I'm, unfortunately, a hopeless optimist, which means I'm both holding out hope that there's still room and time for meaningful conversations to be had about this show, and that it might change it's tune in response to valid concerns pointed out by the fans.

It may turn out that the first few episodes are enough to make me jump ship permanently,  or I may wait until the midseason or even season finale to make that decision. But if I gave one hope for this fandom, it's that everyone will respect people's individual decisions about this show, even while we still carry on the important conversations that need to be had.
