T: For the last time Mary, We were meant to be!
M: I really don’t think so Tom. I think we just happen to match wonderfully. that doesn’t necessarily mean anything has to come from you and me.
T: It’s fate Sweetheart
M: You’re late. Now, scurry on before you get into real trouble and lose that job of yours.
T: Not until you admit it, You’ve seen things. There’s something between you and me.
M:…Maybe…
T: Aha! I knew it.
M: But then maybe not. Tom, listen to me-
T: No, you listen to me. Our meetings as strangers 3 times in the past week in the World’s largest city with both of us scuttling and hurrying around to do other things is odd to say the least. But for me and you to both feel a large amount of attraction for one another is not just some common thing. Mary, we didn’t meet coincidentally.
M: Coincidences happen all the time.
T: There’s no such thing, dear
M: I believe there are dear.
T: Oh really? So coincidentally, halfway through last week my boss happened to send me to the 1 store in the city that you absolutely hate but also could not avoid being there at the exact same time I was sent there?

T: And we just happened to hit it off in the 4 minutes I was there.
M: “Hit it off” isn’t the term that I would use…
T: You found me attractive enough to take my number and actually seem interested.
M: I found you pitifully adorable enough to take your number. The attraction came later. I also cared so much about having your number that I lost it in the first 5 minutes after you left.

M: You ran into every piece of furniture in the store which was impressive considering no two pieces were within 50 feet of each other

M: Oh no, I’m very clearly getting the point. That was impressive. But pitiful. And adorable. And nothing but a very strange coincidence for someone like me, who would find such and incidence worthy of these traits, to happen to be there.
