how do you make those (knitted?) Snakes? They look really cool and I was wondering if I could make one myself?
Hey! Sorry I took sooooo long to respond. I've been offline for a while since I do a lot of festival work.
I crocheted them. I freehand a lot of the stuff I make so depending on your skill level, the hardest part to make I think is the head, since I freehanded the shape. The body itself is basically a tube with basic stitches. I'm sure that with basic knitting skills, the same can be achieved.
In the middle is a piece of wire, wrapped in cloth, and then wrapped with a thin layer of stuffing. I think I even used fake snow cloth since it had the right amount of floof.
Since its an iron wire I think I can't bend it endlessly, cuz then the wire could break, but its an easy solution. If you're using it as decoration or prop, for example wrapping it around something (like I did), it should be fine.
I have seen people use plastic doll skeleton pieces that you click together. It's a more expensive option, but if you wanna snuggle the boi and play with it, that might be a better option.
I suggest watching this video on a clear explanation of the technique.
I have only found the video recently, so I made my noodle boi without any knowledge of this vid, but I think it would be very helpful for you!
I hope that answers your question!
