You know what, I've been attempting to make a pattern for a damn coaster for what feels like a few days now [despite the post I made like yesterday about me starting it] and it was a complete FAILL. I'm definitely feeling drained 🏃♀️🤣
I tried everythingggg. I had a cute vision for it, but I just don't like itt 😓. [The back is much cuter because it's a waffle stitch, but I don't feel like taking a pic of it lol]. It was meant to be a waffle stitch around the middle into hearts and then ruffles, but I gave up around the heart part [the pink double crochets] and unraveled the structure for the hearts [yall can't see it there, but it was white]
I guess this is a divine lesson/sign to maybe get started on the crochet designs that I've had in my journal for a few months now [after getting practically hit in the head with the ideas one day] but have been putting off. I just thought making a coaster would be an easy first pattern to work on. Plus, I was a little intimidated to work on such a big design as my first public pattern to sell 😫😫.
Oh well, we'll see, I guess.
If y'all have any tips, feel free to comment. Or if you experienced something similar, I FEEL YOU.

Hiii y'all,
I've been thinking of starting a crochet business, and right now, I think that selling patterns would be the most fun for me.
Crochet has been really fun for me for a few years, and this will honestly be the first time I'll be designing patterns and not solely following them for once.
SO, this morning I just got up and started crocheting a pattern, and when I tell YOU, it was so hard. But I will master this and make it easy, period.
Wish me luck 🤞

I love to crochet
You know, I first learned crochet after starting a Knitting, Crocheting, and Embroidery club at my school. Ironically, without knowing how to do any of those crafts...
So I had like two weeks to teach myself before teaching others, and that pressure worked really well because now it's a year later and I feel like a master at crochet.
The only thing I haven't been able to do yet is crochet my OWN pattern, and I finally had a dream of an idea for a crochet project. So I immediately began the project and it's going super well, and it looks so cute! Of course...after unraveling it and redoing it a few times, we can ignore that. [I'm still working on it of course...for the past month]
But ya that's my experience with crochet, have any of you experienced something similar lmaooo.
Have any of you experienced this too?
Yep, absolutely
Similar but a little different, I'll comment below!
