Warnings: Spoilers for season 3!!
Everyone in Valhalla knew of you, you were the one logging the times and events of the ragnarok after all, and they'd always hear about one of the fighters talking on your little interviews you held before all of the fights.
You gave them questions and they'd reply as best they could. It was one of the ways some of the fighters would try and get on the public's good side, OR they'd use it to brag and boost their own egos. And some of the more serious and stoic fighters would rarely even say anything on the interviews all together.
One of Your favourites you got to interview was Adam because he was so nice to you! He answered every question so quickly and he thought you were super cute. He didn't know a child would be here doing all of these things but he admired the hard work and dedication you put in and he told you to stay safe. it had everyone cheering him on in the fight!.
You were pretty scared while interviewing thor, but you slowly warmed up towards the giant. He answered only a few of the questions you asked, which was fine. You weren't actually expecting him to answer any of them at all, so you were very happy with the answers you received! He was very chill about the whole thing as well which put you at ease. He respected the work you did, tracking everything and making sure the broadcasting channels were working perfectly the entire time!
One of the scariest gods you had tried to interview was Beelzebub and Poseidon. You were TERRIFIED of them both. When you first held your mic (whilst shaking like a tree branch about to snap at any moment) and asked lord Beelzebub about how he was feeling and if he was excited about the fight. He looked down at you, you felt like a rabbit Infront of a gian wolf about to rip you apart..
Luckily he didn't! Lord Beelzebub was quite strange whilst giving his answers to your questions but nonetheless it was actually quite nice interviewing him.
Poseidon was scary. You knew he didn't want a stupid interview so you were extra cautious while asking him. To your surprise, he actually did it! You were very happy but also still scared as hell. It was pretty easy asking him the questions though!
The ones that annoyed you the most though were Apollo,Loki, and Leonidas. You sighed when it was their turns to be interviewed. They barely talked about or answer the questions. Like only one at max. They talked about themselves much more.
Apollo talked about the beauty in the fights and that he was excited but then he just started talking about his own beauty and that once he won he'd be hanging out with his nymphs, also bragging about his achievements?? Not the time twin please for the love of Tartarus just answer THE FUCKING QUESTIONS.
Loki was trying to pull shit whilst answering the questions with a barely listenable voice. He was cocky the entire time and you could not interview him for more than ten minutes before Thor was told to quickly pull him away because he was just embarrassing himself the entire time💔
Leonidas was just talking about how much he hated Apollo and that he was excited to beat his ass. Sigh..Ahem..anyways. he was getting hyped up by his men the entire time btw. This mf.
Qin was very nice!. Sure he was very prideful but after he finished the questions, and the broadcasts stopped, he was very kind towards you. He'd pat your head and praise you for your work, he was amazed that such a young child could do all of this so professionally! when he entered the arena you actually felt scared for him and didn't want him to compete. Luckily he didn't die! Although you were still very sad about hades.
But as I said before, interviewing the fighters wasn't the only thing you did! You'd log the time that the opponent died and how long the battle took. Just to list a few
Lubu vs thor: 16 minutes and 28 seconds
Adam vs zeus: 7 minutes and 13 seconds
Qin shi Huang vs hades: six days
You had everything about the fights logged down aswell! You had a MASSIVE book full of all of the info about the fights, what abilities the fighters had and how they used them, their tactics and what you thought their thought processes were.
You were a very smart child that everyone couldn't help but cheer for!
Alot of the fighters you talked to had become friends with you due to how smart and quick you were.
Everyone may have been divided even more because of the Ragnarok but there was one thing they could all agree on, and that was their love for you!
Can you write about ROR Loki getting close to a human and eventually confessing his love to her, and she actually likes him back but gets upset at him and doesn't believe him because Loki, like the other gods, doesn't like humans, so she thinks someone like him would never like her, so she assumes due to Loki's trickster nature he is toying with her, aka using her as a punchline by pretending to confess to her (because, obviously, joking about something as serious as being in love with someone is awful) and his reaction then them getting together? 👀

loki's confession and a reader who doubts him
You never quite grasped the starting point of your friendship with the most chaotic god in the Norse pantheon. Perhaps "friendship" wasn't even the right word. To begin with, the mere fact that a god of his standing would show any interest in a human was unusual enough, but what was truly disconcerting was how that interest gradually bordered on obsession.
At first, you were just fresh meat for him, treated like a mere new toy to fill the void of amusement that plagued him day after day. You, poor thing, were open-minded enough to remain indifferent to his status. You didn't bow before him, you never treated him like a god to be worshipped, nor did you flinch or shrink when his shadow loomed over you. And that, precisely that, was what began to disarm him.
Loki would approach you, a sharp smile etched on his face, heavy with jokes and provocations, waiting to see you tremble or blush. And you always denied him that reaction; instead, you responded with wit, sarcasm, or such calm that you made him doubt himself. And when the sound of your laughter reached his ears for the first time… Oh, Freyja, protect him. It felt just like that time Brunhilde smiled at him, like a direct blow to a part of his chest he'd rather ignore.
He doesn't know how to love gently. His nature is obsessive, distorted and intense. And all of that extends to the feelings that haunt him.
Loki started looking for you "by chance." Writing about you in his journal. Appearing upside down above your head when you least expected it. Creating little replicas of you, studying every gesture and expression, as if you were a riddle he needed to solve.
And you, without even knowing it, had become his favorite pastime… And something much deeper that neither of you could name at that moment.
The confession came almost as a double shock. His reputation preceded him, and not only that, but his elitist view of humanity didn't help his case either. He didn't have to hear you speak because your face showed your consideration of his words as a cruel joke.
❝Why would someone like him notice me? He must be playing with me,❞ your mind kept repeating. Your thinking was quite logical, which led to a subtle anger slowly coursing through your veins. Things like that shouldn't be played with; neither you nor your feelings were a joke for his own amusement.
That's when he became genuinely confused. For the first time in his eons of existence, someone was accusing him of something he hadn't done. Soon, that confusion enveloped him in a dark, burning aura. His strong emotions were nothing more than cannons waiting to be fired, and your audacity had become a sudden target.
Before Loki could even measure his own words, he launched himself and blurted out whatever came to mind.
❝How dare you doubt me? Do you think I need to play with you for my amusement?"
Amid his outburst of hatred for being rejected, something in the air stopped him once again. It was a mere second, an instant in which his eyes met yours, and what he glimpsed in those depths, he recognized as pain. You weren't angry, you were hurt, and that was even worse.
His gaze, once overflowing with rage, lowered in unison with his chin. To prove it wasn't a trick, he did something he would never do, jokingly or not. Swallowing his pride and silencing his disdain for vulnerability, he finished floating, his feet touching the ground. It was a slight descent, but for someone of his stature, it was symbolically enormous.
Silence reigned in the room, deep and somewhat uncomfortable.
❝I'm not playing with you,❞ he confessed, his intentions now clear, devoid of any theatricality that had once accompanied him. And that's when you began to honestly believe him.
It was a gradual process, because when you finally accepted his feelings and admitted your own, everything about him seemed to light up. A pause of excited surprise passed over his expression, followed by a loving smile. It wasn't physically possible, but he felt how your simple smile melted him.
❝Ah…❞ He sighed, ❝so this is what it feels like.❞
From that day on, Loki promised a thousand things. He would protect you, he would annoy you, he would worship you, and he would watch over you with a devotion that no one would ever have expected from the god of deception.
He is so grumpy when you wake him up from sleeping. Especially when he was in such a nice rest and good position. Just for him to cuddle you? I mean he has no problem with it, but you could’ve said just said that instead of grumbling and complaining. (He’ll be in a better mood in the morning:) )
He is content about it though he is a light sleeper the slight nudge of his arm could wake him up. He would smile as you request he wrap his arms around your waist while you sleep. Is already up, and tries to go to sleep for you since you asked so nicely.
Wakes up in good mood when you nudge him to get up. Gives you extra affection along with cuddling. Face kisses, neck nudges, cheek kissing, you name it he does it. It becomes a routine for you two.

🍓 NORMAL HEADCANONS:
Thor has a natural reserved and detached nature with pretty much everybody he meets, even fellow fighters. This wouldn't really change when he enters a relationship with his S/O, but there would be very minor changes that take a sharp eye to see.
He's not verbally affectionate, rather he is more physically loving. Thor tends to hang around you as his largest form of love. It, to him, shows his feelings better since he's normally avoidant of or violent towards the things he doesn't enjoy.
Thor also brings you gifts without any reason, just that he saw something and wanted to give you it so he did. He normally finds out what you like during his hand outs with you, just listening to you.
He lets you lean against him while pretending to not notice. The closeness helps wind him down from any large "Giant-masses" he comes back from.
Speaking of "Giant-masses", Thor is very protective of his S/O. He always stands between you and danger without a second thought. If he senses his father is starting to get more unhinged due to a current debate, he just shifts you either into his arms or behind him to shield you.
The biggest issues when it comes to being with Thor is, during any argument, he rarely uses his voice -- which makes him withdraw. But he does eventually return to solve things directly so that it doesn't just endlessly float around. He prefers to solve the disagreements when you're both calm.
If you're a happy-go-lucky person, this boy really enjoys you. He's very quiet and more negative due to his fighting tendencies and lonely environment due to his strength, so you just being there and reminding him of the brighter parts just makes him relax.
🍓 YANDERE HEADCANONS:
Yandere! Thor is very unsettling because of his quiet tendency. His love can end up turning into a silent obsession and just mentally checks off that "You belong with me" and doesn't let go.
His devotion to you is like the 47 Ronin and their Lord, Asano Naganori. He would do literally anything to keep you to himself and safe. You are one of the only things that truly interests him in his long-time existence.
Yandere! Thor watches over you constantly and follows your routine to a tee. If there is any perceived threat during his observation, he removes them without any hesitation. It's not due to paranoia, but because he's convinced that it's necessary.
Yandere! Thor's jealousy is extremely dangerous. It doesn't happen often, but when he does get jealous, it's colder rather than emotional. If someone is flirting with you they may just simply disappear from your life without a trace.
The worst part is that, in his mind, it's not cruelty; it's solving a problem.
He keeps some traits the same with his normal counterpart, and that's his freedom. Yandere! Thor lets you be as free as you want to be until he senses possible abandonment. When he senses that, his restraint just goes out the window.
Once it gets to the point where his emotions unravel, Yandere! Thor becomes very difficult to escape due to his sheer power and patience. He can wait as long as it's needed for you to understand why he is keeping you to himself and away from those that once cared about you.
You cannot get to him mentally either. His entire delusion is that he is protecting you rather than controlling you.
🍓 NORMAL HEADCANONS:
Loki thrives on entertainment and emotional reactions from the people around him. Him with his S/O would uniquely occupy an important place in his attention, which would end up exposing his playful nature and deeper insecurities that he works so hard to bury.
When Loki first met his future S/O, he was the same playful and teasing God he always is. He would be practically impossible to take seriously, which became his downfall when he recognized his romantic interest in you.
He constantly jokes, flirts, and does whatever he can to provoke a reaction out of you, even when together. Though he does end up becoming surprisingly attentive, which allows him to know what makes you laugh, what annoys you, what makes you feel fear, and know your weaknesses.
Loki doesn't find these out to exploit you with them, he finds these out because he enjoys understanding you completely.
Being in a relationship with Loki does end up causing some trust issues. This is because of his issue with lying. Sometimes he lies for a purpose and others because he's bored. This could lead to you struggling to know when he's serious.
This could lead to fights which he often deflects through humor, dodges completely, or tests your boundaries with. He doesn't explode on you when emotionally cornered. But, Loki does end up revealing vulnerability in small bursts before hiding it again like normal. It's a default, automatic response.
Thankfully, he is able to prevent many fights because of his great understanding of you emotionally.
Loki ends up giving you an endless list of nicknames. He'll use these when he teases you or just to make you blush for no reason.
He, much like with everybody else in his immortal life, plays pranks on you by shape-shifting. Loki will turn into your pet if you have one, Thor, Heracles, hell one time he turned into Odin and was scolded not only by the true All-Father, but by you!
Does he ever stop? Nope. He loves being the center of your attention, and he'll do anything he needs to be under that spotlight of yours.
🍓 YANDERE HEADCANONS:
Yandere! Loki is one of the most dangerous out of everybody; humans and Gods. This is because manipulation is already a key part of his personality.
He ends up turning everything into a game centered around keeping you to himself. Yandere! Loki obsessively monitors your friendships, daily routines, and your emotional state. And unlike his normal counterpart, he does end up using this understanding of you so he can exploit you and make you dependent on him and him alone.
When together, Yandere! Loki doesn't necessarily use force to keep you by his side. Rather he uses psychology. This is where his observations of you come into play.
Instead of saying things like "Don't leave me." Yandere! Loki will say "Why would you want anyone else when I'm everything you need?" With every coy smile and innocent-sounding word, he slowly moves you into isolation rather than just taking you right off the bat.
Yandere! Loki impersonates everybody you get close to for further analysis. He also mercilessly takes their place to ruin their bond with you, making them seem two-faced and cause you to isolate yourself from them and scurry right on into his open arms.
He would have no problem dispatching certain... pains. He's framed someone before, he can certainly do it again and not feel an inch of guilt.
Over time, Yandere! Loki becomes more and more possessive, but it's so well hidden and you won't realize what's happening until it's too late.
🍓 NORMAL HEADCANONS:
Hermes is a naturally observant and emotionally perceptive God. He would no doubt understand his S/O in-and-out before bonding with them, and while they may not completely understand him, they do understand a more attentive and quietly affectionate side that he rarely allows others to witness.
Like mentioned before, Hermes is most likely the most emotionally intelligent God. This, paired with his natural refined attitude, allows him to present his affection as elegant and controlled.
He's able to notice mood changes, stress, and hidden worries long before his S/O even mentioned them.
Rather than jumping in like Superman, Hermes merely stands to the side and quietly supports you through it. He allows you to grow on your own, only offering his hand when he knows you need a little push to either relax or to understand better.
Now, despite his emotional understandings, Hermes is quite distant when it comes to his own emotions. He doesn't do it because he lacks care for the people around him, but he does it because it's his natural way of keeping his guard up.
He's not nearly as physically strong as his uncles, Hades and Poseidon, his father, Zeus, or even his brothers, Heracles, Ares, and Apollo. He lets his mind speak and his mind has told him to keep himself a mystery, as to allow a high-ground of sorts.
Though it does end up causing some issues with you and him. You may end up struggling to understand what he's really thinking, how he really feels about something, or if he's even being honest with you. But he does help prevent any blow-ups between the two of you as he senses your growing negativity and he speaks it out calmly and respectfully.
Hermes is an excellent listener, as he delivers messages between many of the Gods. This allows him to pick out very thoughtful gifts and remember every important event in your shared lives.
He remembers anniversaries and always makes sure to gift you some subtly physical affection from time to time just so you remember he's there for you.
🍓 YANDERE HEADCANONS:
Yandere! Hermes is terrifying. He's just as calm and composed as his normal counterpart, but he has a dark side that ends up covering not just his mind and heart, but yours as well. It's slow, but it's a process he doesn't dare stop.
His obsession with you shows as healthy as first. He supports you, helps you, and anticipates any of your needs and desires. As you proceed to spend more time with him, this ends up twisting itself around until your life becomes a puppet of his.
He twists and twists your life around until he is certain of one thing; that you begin to depend on him.
Yandere! Hermes rarely loses his balance emotionally, rather he just manipulates everything around you. If somebody were to threaten your relationship, he wouldn't confront them, but he would end up moving things around in your life so that whomever was the threat just becomes obsolete.
He will do this with anybody; friends, family, even just some random person on the street. There is nothing and nobody off limits in his mind.
Yandere! Hermes is a master of emotional manipulation, much like Yandere! Loki. He doesn't show any jealousy, making it seem like he is fine with whomever you surround yourself with. Yet, he always makes it feel like the person you were around was the issue and not his own darkened mind whenever it comes up.
He tracks your information constantly, always staying up to date with your likes and dislikes, the people you chose to be around, even the most insignificant things you do or say. He knows it all.
Eventually, all of his hard work moves you to feel safest with him there. You end up in a prison cell not made of metal and rotting hope, but of velvet silk and tainted love.
🍓 NORMAL HEADCANONS:
Brunhilde is defined by her loyalty and determination to protect those she cares for. She is fierce and intense emotionally, which becomes significantly more personal when she gains an S/O and directs those traits towards.
She is ambitious, protective, and very showy with her feelings which allows you to know the real her. You, and anybody else, can see how much she fights for you, supports, and defends you with an aggression that can only come from a place of deep and resounding love.
The eldest of the Valkyries values loyalty above all else. If you defended her or one of her sisters from one of the divine opponents they gained during Ragnarok, she somehow ends up falling deeper for you.
Even before the burden of Ragnarok, Brunhilde constantly places everything on her shoulders. Any minor or major inconvenience immediately is taken from her sisters and placed into her mind and heart, and she tends to handle them alone.
This ends up creating issues because she may struggle to hide her strains in order to protect her S/O.
Your issues may end up turning into fights where you bring up her overworking herself, her refusal to receive any help, and her constant sacrifices. Brunhilde may end up exploding at you for bringing it all up, but she realizes her issues when you finally speak of wanting to be there for everything. You chose her and want to help and love her, which just makes her walls start crumbling.
After those walls crumble? Brunhilde begins to open up more. Does she tell you everything, no. But she does end up letting you assist her in carrying her burdens more often, and that you can at least give her some props for.
Brunhilde naturally takes charge in your relationship, and so she tends to be the more dominant one in protection, giving you compliments, and just being the one who is always there. Her pride bursts at the seem whenever you succeed, to which she happily shouts, "That's my S/O!"
🍓 YANDERE HEADCANONS:
Yandere! Brunhilde is the safest option on this list, but that does not mean she's harmless.
Her obsession, unlike many yanderes from this series, is fueled by the fear of loss. She's lost many people in her life, as she is an immortal being and time flows on, but she sacrifices so much for the sake of the overall good that attachment from her can become overwhelming.
Yandere! Brunhilde devotes herself completely to you; mind, body, and soul. You become one of the few people that she refuses to lose, no matter what.
She'll justify any extreme actions if they are believed to be necessary by her. If somebody threatens your bond, she'll just think; "I had no choice."
The same determination she uses against the Gods becomes focused entirely on keeping her S/O around.
Yandere! Brunhilde is one of the most protective divine yanderes. She, much like others, constantly monitors you so you don't get caught in danger. If you ever started taking risks, Yandere! Brunhilde would struggle in allowing you wiggle room in your relationship out of fear it may backfire horribly.
Her possessiveness stems heavily from her anxiety rather than any entitlement in you being her lover.
Yet, despite everything she would do to keep you safe, Yandere! Brunhilde would sacrifice everything to keep you safe. She's healthy like her normal half, but her constant paranoia ends up costing her a lot of her points in being the healthiest yandere to fall in love with.
Walking up the steps of Valhalla you tried your best to ignore the Nordic god floating above you. He had been pestering you for some years now. Why? Because he proposed, after he only knew you for 1 month. His words were that he could already sense you were the one. Ofcourse that was a lie and he immediately went to the fates to see if you would be his partner. Typical of Loki. ‘Comeeee ooonnnnn~’ Loki whined at you, still floating and following you even if he was supposed to attend the meeting with the other gods. You ignored his whining and finished walking the steps, entering the green house. He just sulked and closed his eyes, murmuring to himself.
In the green house you searched for some flowers you had to attend to on request of Idunn, who also needed to attend the meeting that Loki skipped. Wondering why you couldn’t hear the exaggerated whines and complaints of the trickster god you turned to find him outside the house still floating and murmuring with his eyes closed, he was floating with his face turned to the sky and his hands behind his head. His hair messy because of all the turning and moving. However, he wasn’t looking at where ye was floating and he was getting closer and closer to the glass. As a sign to hopefully make him aware of what he was doing, you ticked on the glass. But he was too caught up in his childish sulking to realize and then bumped his head into the glass which resulted in him falling to the ground on his back with a loud ‘Thump’ and a breathy but screeching ‘OUCH!’
This made you burst out laughing. It’s such a Loki thing to do that would never happen to anyone else which only made it even funnier. ‘H-HEY! IT’S NOT FUNNY! DON’T LAUGH AT YOUR FIANCE!’ Loki spurted out, embarrassment mixed with irritation and a pinch of humiliation. He quickly got up and clenched his hands when you still laughed at him, feeling more humiliated now but also kind of relieved he was able to make you laugh after you ignored him. ‘I’m not your fiancé, Loki.’ You told him a clearly. You hadn’t even accepted his proposal. Not that you would if you’ll be honest, but you’re not going to tell him that. Loki seemed a bit disheartened by your answer. It was no surprise that he really wanted to be with you, but he hated getting rejected like this. It hurt. And hurt is not something he experienced at often which only confused him and the way he should handle his feelings.
‘…why not, Siggy?’ He asked you a little more seriously now, trying to mask his disheartened and difficult acceptance. He isn’t one to take no for an answer and would push until he gets what he wants. That’s how he is and always had been. Though despite the mixed feelings of being married to him you couldn’t deny that the nickname he gave you was cute. ‘Well we don’t know each other that well, and you proposed to me 1 months after we knew each other. It’s all just so fast.’ Loki’s expression turned a little solemn at your words, but at the same time it also made him thought for a moment. Is he really pushing to hard? But he’s certain you’re the only one for him? Are you going to reject him? No! No way! It’ll be humiliating. Perhaps he should just play it as a long lasting prank… but it’s no secret that he does love you though. The scenarios in his head, the way he wanted to know more about you. He played it off as a crush before. But it’s so much more than that.
You couldn’t help but feel a little bad for saying that. He looked so sad… ‘come here.’ You said opening your arms for a hug, this seemed to make him feel a little better as he walked over to you and wrapped his arms around your middle, his head was on your shoulder and he seemed to still be deep in thought. Even though his body was bent because of the hug, you could see his muscular shoulder a little slumped down. It was kind of amusing that he assumed you didn’t like him just because you refused the proposal. It didn’t mean you didn’t love him, just that you didn’t want to marry. ‘You do realize that i’d rather be your girlfriend first than actually marrying right away right?’ You asked him patting his back, this made him a bit stunned… you wanted to his girlfriend…you. Wanted to be his. His girlfriend. GIRLFRIEND?!!! His expression turned into one of happiness and excitement, but before he could say anything he choked on his own spit which caused you to laugh.
‘So…you’re my girlfriend now?’ Loki asked you, seemingly still needing time to process it. He did have a smile on his face and hugged you tightly. He seemed very happy, his cheeks slightly red and he seemed a little flustered. ‘Well, yeah! You’re cool with that?’ You asked him patting his back as he hugged you even more and placed a kiss on your cheek. ‘YIPPEE’
