A Special Story about a Very Special Artist
About a year ago, I was contacted via e-mail by an artist on the east coast who was seeking representation. Now, this is nothing new. I am approached weekly by artists from around the world who would love to be represented at Quent Cordair Fine Art. The problem is that the vast majority of them are not the caliber of artists that we have in the gallery. Another problem is that we currently represent more than two dozen artists and that my friends is a lot of work. Back to the e-mail: this e-mail (I still have it) was well written and intrigued me. One look at her beautiful sculptures and I was hooked.
Someone once told her that a "beautiful ballerina would not save the world" and that she "should sculpt more abstract figures." I am ever so grateful that she did not listen to them as are our customers who have begun to collect her work.
We will be introducing a new, currently "top secret" piece that she is working on in our new online Artist's Studio very soon at www.cordair.com. In the meantime, you can enjoy all of Holly's lovely ladies at http://cordair.com/artists/crocker-garcia/index.html
