So there's this kid at my school whom I had a previously friendly rivalry with. My friend Lucy and I had just gotten this sheet of Shakespearian insults and were laughing as we used them. It was light-hearted and he knew it was ok.
Or so I thought.
He decided it would be a good a idea to call us F-A-G-G-O-T-S. I won't even really type the word, it's to far. This set me off like nothing else can, but I still wanted to be sensible about dealing with it. Fuming, I tried to explain to him what it was to him because even though I was pretty sure he knew what it meant, I wanted to be sure.
He proceeded to call us gay.
I was hitting myself at this point to keep from actually murdering him. Lucy called him a N-I-G-G-E-R. This was only ok because I knew she didn't mean it, like the other guy did. One of her good friends is a girl called Grace who is in fact black. Still, I wasn't exactly amazed by her wit.
With me it is hard to cross the line, but when you do it's like the Titans breaking through wall Maria. The whole thing is really. Hard to break the wall, but when you do everyone dies. this stuff doesn't just cross it. It rampages right through it. Anyway, I'm gonna stop while I still can.
